Luleå Business Awards

Luleå Business Agency organizes Luleå Business Awards (Näringslivets Pris) in order to reward innovative, hard-working and successful businesses and business people in Luleå. The event is sponsored by several of the largest organizations in Luleå's business community.

For the eleventh year in a row, six winners will receive prestigious awards in one of six categories:

• Business of the Year
• Young Business of the Year
• Business Growth Award
• Newcomer of the Year
• Brand of the Year
• Energy Award

Three companies are nominated in each category and the winners will be announced during the annual awards ceremony and gala evening.   

 

Creating and running a business demands strength, creativity, knowledge, vision and imagination - the sculpture Hjärnbalken unites these elements and the "steel city" of Luleå on the shores of the frozen Bay of Bothnia.

Description and designer:
Hjärnbalken is 12.5 inches high and weighs almost 10 lbs. It is sculpted from angle iron with two figures, a man and a woman, in sand cast glass.
